Valia D. Chaliasou

Valia joined Jure team in 2004 and became a partner in 2009.

She is active as a legal consultant, and her main areas of practice include corporate, banking and finance law. She has extensive experience in providing legal consulting services on corporate and contractual law issues to numerous Greek and foreign entities.

Valia specializes in corporate, project and real estate finance and has acted as legal counsel for syndicates in complex transactions. She regularly advises banks and servicers on debt restructuring agreements and insolvency proceedings, both on a judicial and extrajudicial level.

During the last years, she has advised in a series of NPL transactions, either on the sell or on the buy side and has led Jure’s NPL team in the most important NPL transactions in Greece.
